LIFESAVER!!
We ordered this snow blower after the December Northeast Blizzard, figuring we wouldn't need it so desperately again this winter! Needless to say, two blizzards later and this machine has been a lifesaver. Worked great right out of the box, clearing 6, 10, 18 inches of snow effortlessly. What took 6 hours to do in December took 45 minutes with the Toro. We bought an 100 ft extension cord, which reached just fine to the edges of our property. Easy care, no need to worry about running out of gas. Love it!
Small but mighty
I purchased this from Amazon 4 years and many snowstorms ago.
This winter has given it its toughest test yet and it passed
with flying colors.
Although the snow was deep, by blowing off a couple of layers
at a time the job as done.
Once is a while the snow gets packed in the funnel.
Push it out and you're on your way.
Not for NJ area or above 6" snow
I bought a few days back and we had snow of 11-15" on 2/11/01, it was hard to work with this height of snow. Moreover after a few minutes, I smelled something burning so I stopped using it. I opened the long belt side and saw that belt was burned. So, I conclude that it can't handle more than 6" of snow height. I live in NJ.
Works great!
Bought this for my husband for Christmas. We live in town and it has been ideal to clean our drive and sidewalks. Just had two recent snow storms that produced over 18" snow total. Was able to clear drive with ease. Very satisfied.
TORO Warranty is POOR Buyer beware
Well, day 2 of using this snow blower the belt came off. Took it into a TORO service center and was told the blower was used above capacity. 6 inches of snow and a 55.99 repair bill to repair. Was this just a lemon??? But the reality is here is a manufacturer that does not stand by their products. If 6 inches of snow is above capacity then this is just another worthless piece of equipment with a $ 300 price tag. Hang in the garage for those 2 inch snowfalls. Get the shovel out when it really snows. Maybe you have had a better experience but I have been ripped off and saddled with a LEMON. Thanks toro, never again.
